Knitters and yarn needed
Do you have knitting wool sitting around unused? Are you a keen knitter who would like to help out with a community project? If the answer is yes to either, the Otaki Village Promotions Group (OVPG) would like to hear from you. While the final project is going to be kept under wraps until Christmas, Debbi Carson would like to get started now. “We’re looking at yarn-bombing with a Christmas theme to go with a Main Street party late in the year,” Debbi says. “What we need are some knitters and wool so we can piece together knitted panels about 30cm (12 inches) square.” If you’d like to get involved , please contact Debbi at
