Street Scene publications are produced by ID Media Ltd, which has been operating continuously since 1994 (registered as a company in 2000). The directors are Ian and Debbi Carson, who are both committed to producing quality promotional materials for communities.

Ian is a journalist who has worked as a news editor for The Evening Post and editor of New Zealand News UK in London. After work at The Post, he tutored sub-editing and news page design for INL (now Fairfax) journalists. Today he manages ID Media’s client relations and continues to write, edit and design for the company, including proofreading for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Ian is editor of the Otaki Historical Journal and chair of the Otaki Promotions Group (OPG). He is a senior rugby referee in Horowhenua-Kapiti.

Debbi manages ID Media's sales and administration. She was a driving force behind the establishment of New Zealand’s first Montessori primary school, Wa Ora Montessori School, in Naenae. Debbi has a keen interest in the arts and is a life member of the Friends of the Dowse in Lower Hutt.

As key members of OPG, Debbi and Ian have been instrumental in developing a programme of events for Otaki including the hugely successful Otaki Kite Festival, Community Expo and Otaki Business Network. They are always keen to share their expertise with groups in other communities.

Apart from the Street Scene stable of publications, ID Media has produced regular publicity materials for central and local government, corporates, small businesses and voluntary organisations. ID Media is based in sunny Otaki on the Kapiti Coast.
